The language school De Globe, part of Proceon Scholengroep, opened its doors on Monday 28 March. De Globe is a school for newcomers of primary school age who have to learn the Dutch language. There is a lot of demand for this type of education now that the municipality of Gooise Meren is going to receive refugees from Ukraine in several places. The school started with one group and is already expanding to three groups this week. The school is expected to grow rapidly. The school is therefore looking for qualified teachers and support staff.
Director of Proceon School Group Marieke Doddema: 'Thanks to the efforts of the team, our staff and support from the municipality, we were able to get everything ready to go in two weeks. Teaching at De Globe is a return to the basics of education. It's all about providing security and transferring basic knowledge. We are very proud of the wonderful education that is given to this particularly beautiful target group. The team does this every day with a lot of love. The children are more than welcome!”
